On the thin stretch of land between Ringkøbing Fjord and the North Sea you will find Hvide Sande. Despite its otherwise modest size, the town is full of life. You will find both shops and cafés in the city, which of course also has one of Denmark's best beaches.

Many also go to Hvide Sande to try their luck at angling. Just like in Thorsminde, the herrings come in spring and autumn, where people, like the herrings, stand in shoals on the pier.
