Holstebro

Holstebro is a cazy city located in the middle of the beautiful West Jutland nature, approx. 30 km from Vedersø Klit.

Holstebro's shopping street has been voted Denmark's nicest for several years in a row, and it is not without reason. The pedestrian street is Denmark's second oldest, and is adorned with a number of beautiful houses worthy of preservation as well as many beautiful works of art. The most famous work of art must be "Kvinde på Kære" which stands in front of the old town hall, and which has become the city's landmark. In the pedestrian zone you will find a large selection of shops for all tastes, and then the town is also known for its butchers and delicatesses.

Holstebro also offers various dining options, both in the form of restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy lunch or dinner.

In addition, you will also find several museums in the city. You can visit Holstebro Art Museum or Holstebro Museum, which conveys natural, cultural and local history for the Holstebro region. A little outside Holstebro you will also find the open-air museum Hjerl Hede, which gives you the opportunity to experience everyday life in the countryside 150 years ago.

If you are on an active holiday, then Holstebro certainly has something to offer you as well. Just outside Holstebro you will find Vestre Plantage, which offers many good mountain bike routes in the hilly landscape. There are routes for both the experienced and the beginner.
